MJ's richly colored Brown Garnet Treasure Chest with Rococo Ribbon Embroidery is covered in Brown Garnet silk velvet, accented with Tropical Sea silk jacquard and a tiny peek of Café Au Lait for the interior. The festooned garland is symmetrically embroidered with precise placement for each stitch.
The treasure chest measures 6 1/2" wide and 3 1/2" deep, standing about 3" tall. The festooned garland and oval-shaped top centerpiece embroidery is comprised of Cerise Gerbera, Wild Poppy and Cinnamon silk ribbons for the roses, accented with Peacock silk ribbon for the leaves. Plum narrow velvet ribbon trims the lower edge of the box, further accented with fluted Peacock and vintage dark brown metallic ribbon. Along the lid edge is a tiny lace trim, woven with the dark brown metallic ribbon. The oval lid center is a vibrant bloom in Cerise Gerbera and Tomato silk ribbons, using the flat loop technique.
This one-of-a-kind piece will arrive with a petite booklet included, signed and dated by MJ, that describes the treasure chests intricacies and unique qualities as written here. The construction and finishing used to create this rectangular-shaped box is of couture quality.
